The Dewani Abaya is featured in our Calligraphy Collection. Dewani is a cursive style of Arabic calligraphy developed during the earlier reign of the Ottomans.

The Abaya features this style of abstract embroidery on the back, front and arms in a soft pink shade which contrasts elegantly against the darker taupe. Fine pleating detail appears on the front and back of the plackett. The back of the garment also hosts beautiful hand embroidered buttons which accentuates the garment.
